BUCHAREST, April 18 (Xinhua) -- Road traffic was restricted on a national road in eastern Romania on Wednesday afternoon due to a tank detached from an army trailer.

According to the Police Inspectorate of local Prahova County, a tank broke off from a special place on an army trailer due to the poor assurance of the fastening system, slipping gently to the carriageway, and a part still remaining in the trailer.

The accident occurred in Loloiasca, on the national road DN 1B between Buzau and Ploiesti, some 75 northeast of Bucharest, capital of Romania.

An crane is expected to arrive to return the tank to its original location.
