Chinese shares close higher Friday

BEIJING, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.44 percent to close at 3,462.08 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.56 percent higher at 10,925.16points.
