TEHRAN, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Iran trounced Myanmar 14-0 in Group C of AFC Futsal Championship in Chinese Taipei on Friday.
Mehdi Javid (four goals), Aliasghar Hassanzadeh (four goals), Hossein Tayebi (three goals), Mehran Alighadr, Saeid Ahmad Abbasi and Moslem Oladghoba scored for the Iranian team, local media reported.
Earlier in the day, Iraq defeated China 4-2 in Group C.
Iran are the most-decorated Asian team, winning the AFC Futsal Championship title 11 times.
