PARIS, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Three-time defending champions Paris Saint-Germain recorded their second straight 3-0 victory over Marseille in three days and secured a berth in French Cup semifinals here on Wednesday.

PSG won by the same margin in last weekend's Ligue 1, but that was overshadowed by Neymar's injury. The Brazilian star is expected to undergo surgery at the end of this week in Brazil on the fifth metatarsal fracture in his right foot, ruling him out of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg against Real Madrid next week. PSG lost the first leg 3-1.

Angel Di Maria, in place of Neymar on the front three, had his response by opening up the scoring account for PSG in stoppage time of the first half with a powerful shot just outside the penalty area.

The Argentine winger added another two minutes after the interval. The league leaders' top scorer Edinson Cavani swept Julian Draxler's header home with less than 10 minutes remaining to secure a victory at Parc des Princes.

Also on Wednesday, third-division sides Chambly shocked Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg 1-0 at home, joining another third-division team Les Herbiers in the semifinals. Les Herbiers had their own spot after eliminating Ligue 2 sides Lens through Tuesday's penalty shootout.

The last berth of final four will be decided between Caen and Lyon on Thursday.
