JINAN, July 5 (Xinhua) -- China's leading electric vehicle (EV) charging company TGOOD had recorded a cumulative charging volume of 1 billion kilowatt-hours as of July 1.

Founded in 2004, Qingdao TGOOD Electric Co., Ltd started EV charging in 2014.

In a report released Monday, TGOOD said it has a charging network covering 288 cities, with a daily charging volume of about 3.4 million kilowatt-hours.

The company owns over 45 percent of China's public EV chargers, according to the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance.

"We believe as our network grows, it will make it easier for people to buy EVs," said Yu Dexiang, chairman of the board of the company.
