MADRID, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari isn't expecting his club to be involved in much transfer window over the coming month.

Speaking to the press ahead of Madrid's league game away to Villarreal on Thursday night, Solari said he was optimistic about the rest of the season as his side was "competing on all fronts."

When asked if he thought he had a strong enough squad to compete in the Champions League, the Liga Santander and the King's Cup, he replied "everyone can speak about the players they have or don't have or those they don't need."

"If you compete you don't need to be afraid of anything," he commented.

"I don't have news (about signings or departures): if I had news I would tell you, but we are more interested in Thursday's game," Solari added.

"Everyone here is vital to the team and is committed to the team. They are working hard with a will to succeed. At the moment we have Mariano (Diaz) Marcos Llorente and Javi Sanchez out injured and we need everyone."

Although Villarreal are currently third from bottom of the table, he highlighted that it would be complicated game following the arrival of Luis Garcia as Villarreal coach.

"It's important we impose rhythm on the game and we have been working on that in recent days. Villarreal is always a difficult place to visit," insisted Solari.
