BELGRADE, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Montenegrin Buducnost fought a tight 75-74 victory over visiting Darussafaka in Round 18 of the basketball Euroleague in Podgorica on Friday, thanks to Norris Cole who scored just seconds before the buzzer.

Buducnost created an early lead in front of some 4,100 fans at the Moraca hall thanks to strong defense and gained a two-point lead at the break.

However, in the second quarter Darussafaka managed to find answer for the defense of the home team, creating a six-point lead at the halftime.

Norris Cole created a turnaround by scoring 10 points in the third quarter. In the final quarter Edwin Jackson made a 6-point series and separated the home team even further.

Darussafaka managed to catch up thanks to three-pointers Kartal Ozmizrak and Toney Douglas and create a tense finish, but Nemanja Gordic's precise field goal helped Buducnost to come back on top.

Still, this was not enough for the celebration of home fans as Ozmizrak scored two free-throws after being fouled for 73-74, but Cole stepped in at last seconds of the match to secure the victory and scored a field goal for 75-74.

Best in the ranks of Buducnost was Edwin Jackson with 18 points, followed by Norris Cole (17 points). On the other side, Toney Douglas scored 14 points.

Next week, 15th ranked Buducnost awaits Real Madrid, while bottom-ranked Darussafaka will visit Anadolu Efes.
