ULAN BATOR, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Former Mongolian Justice and Home Affairs Minister Dambii Dorligjav, who has been held in custody since Jan. 8 for alleged corruption, was released on bail on Friday, local media reported.

A request for him to be released on bail was received by a court in Khan-Uul district in the Mongolian capital of Ulan Bator on Friday morning. The court also banned him from leaving the country.
