English side Brighton manager says Jahanbakhsh needs time for consistent play

TEHRAN, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Brighton manager Chris Hughton is confident the club's record signing, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, will benefit from consistent playing time.

The 17-million-pound Iran international, Jahanbakhsh, has made two appearances for the Seagulls since returning from Asian Cup duty in January.

Hughton told The Argus that "I think in and out he showed some really good qualities."

"He is back with us now and I think what he needs is a sustained period of being with us and training with us, with no interruptions, and he will be better for that."
