DOHA, March 30 (Xinhua) -- China's Xu Xin and Liu Shiwen swept Chinese Hong Kong's Ho Kwan Kit and Lee Ho Ching 3-0 in mixed doubles semifinals at 2019 world tour Qatar Open on Friday.
The Chinese duo enjoyed a straightforward experience in the semifinal round, requiring just the three games to Ho Kwan Kit and Lee Ho Ching from the running (11-6, 11-1, 11-9).
Awaiting Xu and Liu in the final is the Japanese pair of Masataka Morizono and Mima Ito, who rallied past Chinese Taipei's Lin Yun-ju and Cheng I-Ching from two games behind by the narrowest of margins (9-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-6, 16-14).
