WINDHOEK, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Namibia lost their opening match against Argentina XV 39-25 in the World Rugby Nations Cup 2019 in Uruguay on Tuesday.

Namibia head coach Phil Davies said despite the loss his team played a very good game against Argentina.

"The match was probably the most structured and controlled game which I have seen us play against quality opposition. We are very pleased on how we played," he said.

Davies said his players encountered a few bumps and bruises but the team remained in good form.

Namibia will next play hosts Uruguay on June 9, with the last match against Russia on June 15. Enditem
