NAPOLI, Italy, June 4 (Xinhua) -- China's Song Shoulin claimed the first title of the 2019 Universiade as she won the women's 1m springboard diving event here on Thursday.

The 20-year-old, from Beijing Sports University, collected a total of 258.35 points after five dives.

Her compatriot Wu Chunting, from South China's Guangzhou Sports Institute, took silver with 256.30 points.

America's Daria Tabea Lenz finished third in 244.25 points.
