GUANGZHOU,Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Yuan Shuai scored 29 points and Shanxi swept past Guangdong 123-96 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League here on Sunday.
Yuan made eight out of ten three-pointers to chip in game-high 29 points, Jamal Franklin added 27 and Malcolm Thomas had 21 for Shanxi. Keifer Sykes scored 27 for Guangzhou.
Yuan hit a three-pointer to start his hot performance as the visiting team dominated the whole game.
Shanxi led 24-14 to enter the second quarter and increased its lead to 57-39 at the half-time break.
The home team already became hopeless when they were down by more than 30 points at 96-64 in the end of the third quarter.
